Ahhhhhh!!! You don’t know how long I’ve been holding out on you! Christine asked me to wait till her one year anniversary to share this and it’s been reallllllllllllly hard!!! So I’m beyond excited!!! This wedding was my jam! Everything about it from the beautiful architecture of the Basilica to the high ceilings in the ballroom at Pafa! Not to mention this amazing couple whose biggest concern on the big day was, did I get enough to eat! (My kind of people!) Christine and Kevin’s wedding was their hearts in the form of a celebration! The way Christine talked about the dresses she had designed for her ceremony and reception and the details and how they represented the mixing of their two cultures! It just brought me joy to hear the excitement in her voice as she explained everything to me! (I might need a refresher but there was something about a phoenix and maybe a dragon? Christine, you explain in the comments! Haha!) It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the day because honestly I have so many! But I will say, the thing I was most excited about before the wedding day was the lion dance so we will just go with that! And one more for good measure, Christine’s long walk down the aisle and Kevins reaction to her! (See everyone, I always say there’s something about that moment that is epic, it doesn’t matter if you had a first look! If he’s gonna cry, he’s gonna cry, the first look won’t change that!) Anyways, I’ve already written a novel that no one but Christine and Kevin are gonna read (and my mom one day if she ever gets Instagram) so to the most wonderfully sweet considerate foodies I know, I’m so glad you found me! You made me feel like a part of your family! I can’t wait to come over for dinner and then watch you watch your Feature Film in person! You guys are the absolute best! And happy 1 year Anniversary! I traveled all the way to Atlanta to film my friend Vicki’s wedding and it was a blast! I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing man than Leonard for her! And it’s evident by the ear to ear smiles on their faces all day! One of my favorite moments was when Vicki walks down the aisle and waves and smiles at everyone! I don’t know about you but it makes my heart happy! I’m also really excited about the harsh lighting during bride prep! I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario! And let’s talk about the speeches! How good are they!? So full of heart! I def choked up a lot editing this one! And finally to the happy couple, I’m so happy for both of you! The worst possible thing happened on Jamie and Sean’s day! IT RAINED! But that didn’t put a damper on their spirit! I don’t think anything ever could! These two are just so full of life and everything that they do together is fun! You can see how they bring out the best in eachother! West and Main however, was the perfect place to shoot a wedding on a dreary day! There were so many nooks and crannies to take advantage of! And @aarenleephoto and I took advantage of all of them! Plus a little umbrella time photo/video sesh made it all worthwhile! I’m really excited to be able to share their feature film with the world! And by the world I mean the 2,574 people who follow me! Oh how I’m soooooo obsessed with the twinkling light through the trees, It was so warm and glowy! Danielle and Preston are pretty amazing too! They are absolutely adorable together and made my job easy! Not to mention super sweet and kind and an absolute hoot! There was so much laughter and joy on their big day and I was smiling the whole time I edited this film! The fantabulous emotional speeches and Preston’s happy tears are the hero! There’s so much goodness jam packed in this film that I have no more words! Just watch it and see for yourself! And finally to the happy couple! It’s a nice day for a beach wedding! (I hope you sand that in your head like Billy Idol, if not you shall go back and fix your error!) “Today is your fairytale, except your fairytale is real life” The perfect description of Alexa and Jose’s big day and coincidentally my favorite line! Every time I hear it I get choked up! Will you?! I feel like every time I sit down to write one of these blurbs (that’s what I call them in my head, You’re welcome!) I run out of words, but it’s not that I run out, it’s that I’m overwhelmed with so many things to say and so many of the same similar things I always say! For instance, it was an amazing day and an amazing couple! And it’s true! I love these two incredibly kind people so much! Especially after spending weeks staring at their faces, pouring over their footage and listening to the sweet words spoken by their loved ones! And there was a lot of laughter and joy! And it was such a fun day! AND there was tall grass! I’ve always wanted to shoot in tall grass! I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s hard to find new ways to say the same thing and I refuse to use AI! It’s easier to express myself through my films so maybe I’ll just let them speak for themselves! And finally to the happy couple, I’m so blessed that you found me and that I know you! When I think about Alessia and Eric the thing I remember the most is the huge smiles on their faces all day! And apparently it’s contagious, Erics mom even talks about it in her speech!
